Grants

In 2026, Ms. Palmer used her mini grant money to hold the first of many a Battle of the Books. Her 5th grade G&T students all worked so hard and a Ridgeway team took home the trophy. Well done to all!

In 2026, Ms. Baranyay hosted a Glow Day, with her mini grant money,  for her third grade class in Whiting. They played math games, had fun all while it was dark and everything was glowing! 

In the 2023-2024 school year the MTEF was proud to donate a grant for an early intervention bundle by School Health. These machines were delivered to Manchester Elementary School and are able to travel to our other elementary schools to help our school nurses with screening for hearing and vision.

In 2026, Miss Ellies class at Regional Day School enjoyed a bike ride that she purchased using mini grant money!

On December 17th, 2025 the MTEF awarded over $20k in 
mini grants for the 2025-2026 school year.
This grant money will be funding books for different grade levels, flexible seating, garden and art supplies as well as materials for all
sorts of innovative projects that hold true to our mission-
improving the educational experience for all students
in the Manchester Township school system.

Thank you to all who applied who applied for our 2024-2025 Mini Grants! Our winners were announced at the Board of Education meeting in February 2025.

During the 2022-2023 school year, the MTEF Board of Directors was happy to provide $40,000.00 in grant money to teachers who applied. This money was used to help fund projects, activities and classroom needs. Below are the principles in attendance of the Board of Education meeting in January of 2023.
