Our 5th Annual MTEF/EyesFirst Golf Outing was MTEF's most successful event to date thanks to the generous support of local businesses, community organizations, donors, golfers and volunteers. We raised approximately $20,000 at the event, held July 15, 2013 at Eagle Ridge Golf Course.
Proceeds will help to fulfill MTEF's goal of donating a total of $50,000 to install wireless internet service in our school buildings this fall.
Funds are also allocated for our Classroom Mini-Grant program to provide equipment that is beyond the limits of the school district's annual budget. Over the past four years, $23,000 has been granted to 39 classroom teachers and faculty for Kindle tablets, iPads, MP3 players, musical instruments, math and science materials, and more.
