The MTEF/EyesFirst Vision Center 6th annual Golf Outing on July 14 at Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Lakewood was MTEF's most successful event to date thanks to the generous support of local businesses, community organizations, donors, golfers and volunteers. Approximately $20,000 was raised at the event. Golfers enjoyed a few rounds of golf, despite some afternoon thunderstorms!
Over the years, proceeds from the golf outing have supported the donation of technology equipment to the school district, including computers, interactive whiteboards, and projectors; funding toward wireless internet (WiFi) in the schools; classroom mini-grants including iPads, Kindles, musical instruments, art supplies, math, language arts and science materials, and more.
